Item # 111920.
A new way to experience rice cooking! It is said that unlike traditional electric rice cookers, clay cookers retain heat and gradually cool down to draw out the best flavors of rice. The process is a little more complex than plugging something in and flipping a switch, but for the real Foodie, once you experience donabe-cooked rice, nothing will ever be as good! Comes with detailed instructions for use. The inner lid is used for measuring the rice and water, while the outer lid doubles as a serving bowl. Serves two unless one of you really loves rice and doesn’t like to share!
This cooker is for use on an open flame gas stove only. Not for microwave or dishwasher.
