Print Yuki Okinaga by Russell Lee (8x10)

Item # 220488.

There are two iconic images of this child resting on her suitcase waiting at Union Station to be transported to Manzanar with her family. Another version of this moment in time was taken by Clem Albers. Yuki grew up to be the assistant dean of students at  University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She raised a family and remained outspoken about the injustice of her early incarceration.
