Handmade by local artist Miki Naka, these cards are laser cut and backed by colorful washi papers (designs and colors vary but all have shades of red. We will select for you.) Comes with envelope. 4.5”x 5.5” Blank inside for your own personal message!

Ema-The Ox appears on a traditional votive plaque called an ema, which translates into 'picture horse'. In ancient Japan, horses were sometimes given as offerings to Shinto shrines. Later pictures of horses on a stable-shaped piece of wood were substituted as symbolic offerings.
