Celebrate Boys' Day with this pop-up card display! Traditionally, May 5th was celebrated as tango no sekku or Boy's Day, but today in America, that day is shared not only with Cinco de Mayo celebrations but with girls, as it is now called Children's Day (or Kodomo no hi). In the old days, families would set out decorative symbols of the Boy's Day celebration such as warrior dolls representing Kintaro, Shoki, and Momotaro, and fly koinobori outside the house. Let your fish flag fly! Comes with mailing envelope. 7"W x 4.5"H x 2.5"D.
