Happy Hanami Season!

The iconic Japanese cherry blossom, also known as sakura, indicates the onset of spring with blooms beginning as early as March. The beautiful cherry blossom trees throughout Japan attract many visitors for hanami, the beloved tradition of viewing and appreciating flowers.

 

Last year, I took a stroll along the Meguro River, which is a popular destination for hanami in Tokyo, Japan. I had the pleasure of visiting a sakura-themed cafe in the neighborhood for afternoon tea and pastries. I felt very inspired being surrounded by florals and quaint decor.

Now that I am back in the United States, I have been looking for ways to recreate that magical experience. Thankfully, the JANM Store provides everything I need to host my own sakura tea party at home.
