Bob Matsumoto 9066 Collection

Bob Matsumoto created this iconic image as a way of honoring the families who were incarcerated in the ten concentration camps after the signing of the infamous Executive Order 9066.

Matsumoto, whose advertising work is in the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art, was incarcerated in Manzanar.
