Museum Store

The Museum Store of the Japanese American National Museum features distinctive Asian American merchandise for all occasions and generations. Our unique product line represents the essence of the Japanese American experience, while also promoting an appreciation of America’s ethnic and cultural diversity. All proceeds from the Museum Store support Museum programs and exhibitions.

Our retail location can be found in the Japanese American National Museum’s Pavilion Building in the Little Tokyo Historic District of downtown Los Angeles. We’re on the corner of First Street and Central Avenue.

If you’re in the neighborhood, please stop by and find out why we were named to Los Angeles Magazine’s 2006 Best of LA (August 2006).

In addition to the many items available through the Museum Store Online, our on-site location also features a much broader selection of books, videos, music, clothing, toys, jewelry, stationery, kitchenware, and gift items-including ceramics and many one-of-a-kind artisan pieces. Come see what you’re missing!

Store hours:

Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday—Sunday: 11 AM to 5 PM
Thursdays: 12 PM to 8 PM
Closed Mondays, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.
