Alexandra Gjurasic was featured in Kokeshi: From Folk Art to Art Toy, an exhibition collaboration between JANM and the LATDA Museum in 2009. Gjurasic continues to explore the kokeshi theme in her work, and has produced this new lamp with Lamp-in-a-Box. This design has been printed on special rice paper (see inset for detail of texture.) The shade fits on a contemporary brushed nickel base and is 21" tall when assembled. Background color of shade is white, but light casts a warm glow. Each lamp comes with a fluorescent bulb. Maximum wattage 75 watts. UL listed.
