This different take on the traditional akabeko (bobbing-head red ox) is a more traditional type of ox (think wagyu). These vintage folk toys were made in Japan in the late 80s. At the time they were valued at $15.00 each, but as you can see, in comparison to today's hariko (paper-maché) folk art, scarcity is making such pieces more valuable. 5-1/4"L x 1-3/4"H.
We have a very limited number of these pieces. ALL SALES FINAL.
