Green Tea Girl in Orange Pekoe Country is a collection of eight selected plays by Velina Hasu Houston, a mixed race Japanese American playwright whose play Tea, which is included in the collection, is the most-produced play about the Japanese female experience in the US.  The collection includes an introduction written by director Dr. Peggy Shannon, who is Dean of the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts at San Diego State University; and curator of two global arts projects, The Women & War Project and The Crossing Borders Project.
