JANM debuts its new exhibition about Stanley Hayami, an LA teenager, whose diary and sketches reveal his 1942 concentration camp life. Two years later, he is drafted into the U.S. Army’s 442nd Regimental Combat Team, and writes letters from the European front line. Hayami’s experiences are brought to life with a 360-degree video, his artwork, journal entries, and letters.
