By Higashi Glaser Design. Museum Exclusive!
For the past ten years our mascot for the Children’s Courtyard has been a frog. Why a frog? Because the word for frog in Japanese is kaeru. But kaeru also means “to return” in Japanese. And we want the children whose names are in the Courtyard to return to the Museum again and again because they are literally part of the Museum.
Higashi Glaser Design, creators of Zolo Toys, reinterpreted our Courtyard Kaeru inspired by origami. Back reads “*frog = kaeru = return”.
This 100% cotton t-shirt is available in Orange for kids. Youth sizes XS (2-4), S (6-8), M (10-12), L (14-16)
