This delightful pair of Hina dolls was designed in Japan but made in China. Unlike traditional kimekomi dolls where fabric is applied and tucked over a wood or compressed sawdust base, these dolls are ceramic based, making them much more economical, but just as beautiful in detail and craftsmanship. The Emperor is 4-1/4" high to the top of his crown.
