This two-tiered box can be used as an elegant jewelry box, or as it was designed, for bento lunch. The cherry bark that covers the surface of this box is harvested from living cherry trees. Cherry bark crafts, or kabazaiku, date back to the 18th century. The interior of the box is finished in vermilion lacquer. Measures 7-3/4"L x 7-3/4"W x 4-3/4"H.
