Hitomi Hisono is a ceramics artist trained in Japan, Denmark and England, and whose sculptures are in international art collections both private and public. Her work is in the Victoria & Albert Museum and Wedgewood Museum among others. The painting on this mug was an early design of hers from 2006. It is called "Sushi Tengoku" and is a brilliant illustration of a sushi bar gone wild. This is probably the most affordable example of Hisono's work you will ever find! Dishwasher and microwave safe.
